About Sheila

Thanks for your interest in joining my studio!

I believe that EVERYONE is musical. It is a beautiful and universal language that we can all speak. My goal in teaching is to give the gift of music to every student, that it might stay with them throughout their whole lives.

I graduated from Central CT State University in 2007 with a B.S. in Music Education. Since then, I have been teaching and performing music in many capacities. I have been a classroom music teacher, choir director, church music director, and worship leader.

I currently teach private and group lessons in my home studio in Woodbury, CT and remotely, via Zoom.

I live in Woodbury, CT with my husband Jonathan and our 3 young children: Mabel, Eleanor, and West. We love to be silly, build LEGO, and have dance parties together. My favorite things to do (besides making LOTS of music in the studio) are to read, listen to audiobooks and podcasts, cook, and spend time on Cape Cod.
